Thomas & Heather's Wedding!

The combination of great friends, perfect weather and a beautiful wedding celebration definitely made last Saturday a day to remember. Heather Nagel and Thomas Adams officially tied the knot at Concordia Lutheran Church in downtown Louisville last weekend!

May the Lord richly bless them as they begin this new chapter in their lives.

On December 27th, I had the tremendous privilege of photographing the wedding of two of my very close friends here in downtown Lexington. It was a beautiful winter wedding that I couldn't have been more excited to be a part of.

I recently got the chance to photograph Phil and Jennifer's wedding in Owingsville, KY! The Baptist Church there was the perfect setting for both the ceremony and the reception. I wish them the best of luck as they begin this wonderful new chapter in their lives!

This was such a fun photo shoot! Katie and Brandon's engagement shoot began at the beautiful Asbury campus in Wilmore and ended at an old rustic feed mill! The weather was perfect which really made the fall colors 'pop'.

It was truly a joy to be a part of Chad & Lauren's wedding. They are a great couple who completely devoted their wedding ceremony to the Lord. It took place at Gingerwoods in Prospect, KY - a gorgeous setting for a fall wedding! The rain didn't dampen any spirits as they celebrated on into the night.

Last weekend I got the privilege of hanging out with Heather & Thomas out on the Louisville waterfront. The weather was perfect and so was the company - Heather's parents even joined us for the fun! Here are a few photos from a beautiful summer wedding that I recently had the privilege to photograph. This day was filled with some amazing details! To name just a few... a bagpiper lead in the wedding party, the ceremony took place under one of the oldest, most incredible trees I have ever seen, the bride's entire kindergarten class showed up and played a role in the ceremony and they got driven to the reception in a Bentley! What a day...

I recently had the privilege of photographing a beautiful wedding at the Chrisman Mill Vineyards & Winery in Nicholasville. What a fun wedding to shoot - the scenery was perfect and the wedding party was a blast to work with! The gorgeous sunset was the exclamation point to a night that will not be soon forgotten.

New Wedding for 2009!

I am happy to announce that I will be photographing the wedding of Katie Wylie and Jodie Snodgrass next July. I had a great meeting with them along with her family at Panera Bread. We didn't figure out until after the meeting was almost over that we had all 3 graduated from Georgetown College! What a small world...

Anyway, I'll be shooting the happy couple's engagement photos in about a month when the fall colors are at their peak- can't wait!

I had the great privilege of photographing the wedding of the now Mr. & Mrs Francisco Valenzuela last weekend. The wedding party was a blast to work with as all but one of them were professional ballroom dancers! As you can tell from the pictures below, they were not the least bit camera-shy!

A Shoutout to My Wife

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to my beautiful wife, Melissa. We just got back from celebrating our 1 year anniversary! I can't believe how the time has flown by.

We went up to Indianapolis for a couple days and had a great time...we even got to top it off with a nice carriage ride through the city streets led by a pretty white horse named Riley.

P.s. She has been an awesome photo assistant as well - I couldn't do this without her!

Another Wedding Booked for 2008

I am so excited about photographing the wedding of Francisco Valenzuela and Robin Malony on July 26, 2008! They are both amazing dancers...their first wedding dance is going to be fantastic. My wife and I had the privilege of meeting them back when we began taking dance lessons for our own wedding, and we were able to see them get engaged at our studio's Halloween dance party. It has been a privilege to know them, and I am thrilled to be a part of their special day!

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet the future Mr. and Mrs. Johnathan Cooper this evening at Panera Bread. They are such a fun couple and are so excited about their future together. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next summer.

Jessica and Johnathan have chosen my extended coverage package which I am very excited about. With this package, I will be with the bride early in the morning at the hair salon all the way into the wee hours of their reception. I will also be designing their custom wedding programs.

The couple will be getting married at Buck Run Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY.

Mark and Monica Got Married Last Weekend!

Monica Robertson and Mark Wiseman's wedding day is just a few weeks away! They will be getting married on September 15th in Bradford, Indiana at St. Michael's Church.

I got to meet with the couple last month at Panera Bread over a couple of Mountain Dews. :) It was a wonderful meeting. They seem like such a nice couple and I can't wait to photograph their wedding!

This past Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the wedding of one of my good friends Chris Gaither. He and his beautiful bride, Katie, were married at St. Matthews Baptist Church in Louisville, KY - a perfect wedding venue filled with amazing stained glass.
